Position - Service Bookings Advisor

Location – Cardiff Audi

Job Purpose:

To be the focal point of contact for all customers requiring servicing or repair to their vehicles. Managing the flow of information between the workshop, the rest of the dealership and the customer, delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage all service telephone enquiries on behalf of the dealership.
  • Qualify service needs.
  • Establish understanding and an agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out
  • Controlling workshop capacity ensuring that all details are entered onto the service workshop loading system.
  • Manage any necessary liaison with department manager regarding customer dissatisfaction.
  • Understand and adhere to the Brands service requirements.
  • Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the Brand.
  • Maintain product knowledge of all the Brand.

Skills and Experience Required –

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. You will be highly customer focussed and will be able to quickly build successful working relationships with customers both face to face and via telephone.

This position will involve some weekend work on a rota basis.

Position - Technician

Location - Newport Ford


We are looking to recruit a Senior Technician in our site at Newport Ford, you will ideally be trained to the following level – NVQ level 3 with experience of 5 years

Job Purpose: To diagnose, repair and service the range of Ford products in accordance with Ford’s work specifications, ensuring each customer receives excellent customer service.

As a Technician, your Key Objectives will be:
 

  •  Through the use of diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach, ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified.  Meet with customers to identify and clearly understand problems as and when required.
  • Ensure full understanding of latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them.
  • Carry out diagnosis, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
  • Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.
  • Liaise and seek advice from colleagues and supervisors in situations that are over and above work specified.
  • Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road testing vehicles after work has been carried out.  Liaise with Service Advisor.
  • Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI’s, service reports) in line with warranty and dealership requirements.
  • Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times including the use of special and personal tools.
  •  Work with other workshop and dealership colleagues to provide excellent customer service.  Share best practice when appropriate.


This position will involve shift work and a full driving licence is essential.

Position - Cashier

Location – Bristol Audi

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the maintenance of the Kerridge system and to ensure full compliance with Group accounting standards.
  • To assist the accountant in full involvement of all financial aspects of the dealerships working alongside the dealership management teams and the Regional Accounting Centre’s support functions.
  • To assist in the preparation of files and returns for both internal and external auditors as required.
  • To prepare ad-hoc information for the Regional Accounting Team as required.
  • To assist in the provision of information and advice for dealership management on financially related matters.
  • To process all daily banking
  • Process & maintain Vehicle debtors, Sales Ledger Cash Sale & Till Accounts
  • To assist in the preparation of all manufacturer and other statutory returns.
     

Requirements:

You will be organised, analytical and have a good attention to detail.

Ideally you will be competent in the use of Kerridge Rev8, and be able to use all Microsoft packages.

You will ideally have had previous relevant experience, but most of all you will be passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience.
