We are looking to recruit a Technician in our site at Capitol Newport, which is an Authorised Repairer for the following Brands – Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda
Key responsibilities:
To be part of a team achieving total customer satisfaction. To accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and service of motor vehicles.
To be able to detect and diagnose any additional work required. To carry out work in a safe manner, complying with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repair or equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar role, within the Volkswagen Group Brands would be desirable; MOT trained would also be desirable but not essential.

Through the use of diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach, ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified. Meet with customers to identify and clearly understand problems as and when required.
Ensure full understanding of latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them.
Carry out diagnosis, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.
Liaise and seek advice from colleagues and supervisors in situations that are over and above work specified.
Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road testing vehicles after work has been carried out. Liaise with Service Advisor.
Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI’s, service reports) in line with warranty and Audi Centre requirements.
Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times including the use of special and personal tools.
Work with other workshop and Audi Centre colleagues to provide excellent customer service. Share best practice when appropriate.
This position will involve working Saturday mornings on a rotational basis, and a full driving licence is essential.

Position - Service Advisor
Location - Mon Motors Chippenham
Part Time / Job share
27 hours per week, Monday – Wednesday 8am – 6pm, plus holiday and sickness cover.
Mon Motors Chippenham is an established business which has a team of skilled staff working to service, repair and MOT vehicles with authorised repair status for the following Brands – Ford, Skoda and Volkswagen. Mon Motors Chipenham also sells quality used cars.
Job Purpose:
To be the focal point of contact for all customers requiring servicing or repair to their vehicles.
Managing the flow of information between the workshop, the rest of the dealership and the customer, delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Skills and Experience Required –
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. You will be highly customer focussed and will be able to quickly build successful working relationships with customers both face to face and via telephone.
