Working in a Sales position in the car industry is one of our most important positions, and a great way to start a career within the Mon Motors Group. We are passionate about our customers and the ability to deliver an outstanding sales experience is paramount.

Our Sales team are the first contact for all our customer sales enquiries where the highest level of professionalism and customer care is required. You will build strong relationships with your customers and help them with the purchase of their new or used car.

Our Sales Team across all the brands are enthusiastic, professional in approach and are highly motivated. A dynamic personality with a drive to meet your key performance indicators and the desire to work in the industry is essential for succeeding in a Sales role.


Working in an Aftersales position in the car industry involves being part of a busy front of house team liaising between the customers and service technicians that work in the garage or workshop. They work with customers to determine problems with a vehicle and provide technicians with accurate repair descriptions.

Establishing an understanding and agreement between the customers and managing the handover and administration of the service vehicles is essential in an Aftersales position.

Our Aftersales Team are expected to be able to easily build rapport with customers while at the same time offering them the benefit of their skills, to identify the customers need and giving clear and accurate estimates of the costs and timescales involved. Knowledge of the industry and brand are essential and good administration and organisational skills are required in an Aftersales role.


Working in a Technician’s position within the Mon Motors Group requires you to repair and service cars and vans to a high standard. They work on all vehicle mechanics and electrics, from engines and exhaust systems to air-conditioning and security.

Technicians are vital when it comes to customer care, as the service provided by the workshop is a major factor considered by customers when they decide to replace their car. As a Technician you need to be a self motivated individual. Technicians are required to have a keen interest in the motor vehicle industry, be passionate about the brands and be fully committed to becoming a highly skilled and motivated Technician.

The Mon Motors Group offers some apprenticeships for Service Technicians.


The Mon Motors Group Parts personnel are essential team members within the Group. They play a vital role as a member of the Parts department in selling parts and accessories, as well as providing assistance to both the Service and Sales Departments in helping them to work effectively. They need to be able to work towards deadlines and ensure that all parts orders are effectively and accurately processed and all purchase records are correctly maintained.

They work in a busy Parts department and spend the day dealing with customers and colleagues both face-to-face and over the phone. Therefore it is essential to have good organisational and interpersonal skills in this type of role. Knowledge of the industry and a keen passion for the motor industry help towards becoming a highly trained and committed Parts team member.

Call Centre

The Mon Motors Group has a main Call Centre which is used to manage a large number of our customer telephone requests for all dealerships, whether it is inbound or outbound calls for service booking, customer satisfaction calls and more. There are a number of job roles within the Call Centre which include a Call Centre Manager, Team Leaders and Booking Agents.

To work within the Call Centre you need to have excellent customer care skills and a clear and friendly telephone manner. A professional attitude must be maintained when dealing with customers in order to provide outstanding customer service throughout the business. IT skills are beneficial in a Call Centre position.


The main duties of the role are providing administration support for the team of Sales Executives. Our Administration roles within the Mon Motors Group involve a set of day-to-day activities related to vehicle registrations, taxation, invoicing and finance documentation. All of which are part of a defined sales process and require important documentation to be checked, completed and recorded to comply with DVLA and financial standards.

Knowledge of ADP Kerridge is essential to an Admin position and good IT and organisational skills are required. Working in a busy office environment you will need to meet agreed deadlines and work alongside other administrators as well as the Sales team and Accounts teams.
