Meet the new Ford Transit Minibus
The Minibus version of the iconic Ford Transit is all the vehicle you need to get your passengers to their destinations in comfort, safety and style. With seating for up to 18, and room for their luggage too, it takes group travel to new levels, whatever the journey.
The Transit Minibus comes in a choice of three body lengths and two roof heights, as well as three distinct trim lines, so there’s a version suited to every application. Power is from the tried and trusted EcoBlue diesel engine, in either 130 or 165 PS power output form, with rear-wheel drive through either six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmissions.
Maximum payload, depending on the version selected, can be as high as 1,450kg. And with the option to tow a braked trailer, gross train mass can go up to seven tonnes.
All versions come with high-quality seats trimmed in a range of durable fabrics, and easy access to the passenger compartments through large sliding doors with effortless one-pull opening. There’s also a power-operated side step to make entry even easier.

To move people efficiently, safely and comfortably, you need the right-sized vehicle – and the Ford Transit Minibus has you covered. Designed to adapt to a wide range of passenger transport needs, it offers multiple body lengths, roof heights and seating configurations to suit everything from shuttle services to larger group travel.
Compact L2 versions can be specified with 11 or 12 seats, with an overall length of 5,531mm and a 3,300mm wheelbase, delivering excellent manoeuvrability in urban environments and tight spaces. Step up to the L3 body length, measuring 5,981mm overall with a 3,750mm wheelbase, and seating capacity increases to 14 or 15 passengers, making it ideal for busier routes or longer journeys.
You can also choose between H2 and H3 roof heights, with the higher H3 roof allowing room for optional overhead luggage racks – perfect for airport transfers or trips with additional storage requirements. For maximum capacity, the longest L4 body stretches to 6,704mm and comes with the high roof as standard, accommodating 17 or 18 seats, depending on whether a single or double front passenger seat is selected.
There are many thoughtful touches designed to make drivers’ lives easier too. Large gloveboxes with A4 file storage capability, a rake and reach adjustable steering column, and rain-sensing front wipers all come as standard across the range. Combined with excellent visibility and a comfortable driving position, the Transit Minibus helps reduce fatigue and keeps drivers focused and confident throughout the working day.
