Position: Service Advisor, Capitol Newport

This is your opportunity to contribute towards a successful, fast paced aftersales team responsible for 4 brands - Skoda, SEAT, Audi and VW. 

We are looking for someone who shares a passion for the motor industry, working as part of our front of house team you will be the first port of call for our customers when visiting our showroom, creating a friendly hospitable environment for our customers.

The role will require you to:

  • To manage all service walk-in enquiries on behalf of the dealership
  • Qualify service needs
  • To establish understanding and an agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out
  • To manage the handover and administration of Customer Service Vehicles.
  •  Explain the work carried out on the vehicle ensuring customers full understanding and authorisation
  • To manage any necessary liaison with department manager regarding customer queries
  • To understand and adhere to Brand service requirements
  • To maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the dealership

You should:

  • Possess exceptional interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
  • Be outgoing, approachable and confident, with an ability to make effective relationships with our customers
  • Be energetic, resilient, enthusiastic and passionate about our fantastic Brand
  • Be able to learn and retain a large amount of technical product information
  • Be comfortable using Technology e.g. iPad’s

Previous experience in a service advisor or technical role is desirable but not essential, full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
