What is a Volkswagen Electric Service Plan?

A Volkswagen service plan is designed to help keep your car running smoothly and reliably, covering everything from routine services and MOTs to roadside assistance. Rather than paying for these individually, the cost is spread across smaller, manageable monthly payments, making it easier to budget for the upkeep of your vehicle. Often, the total cost of a service plan can work out lower than paying for each service separately.

At Mon Motors, we offer a range of Volkswagen Service Plans, including Standard, Plus and All-In, to suit different driving needs. While some of these plans may not cover Volkswagen electric models, there are dedicated service plans available that are tailored to the unique requirements of VW electric cars. For example, the e‑Golf and e‑UP! have a separate service plan available from just £17.75 per month¹, which covers vehicles aged 1–15 years. While other service plans for ID. models start from £12.46 a month¹.

How much is a Volkswagen Electric Service Plan?

The ID. Series is Volkswagen’s collection of electric vehicles, which includes the ID.3 hatchback, ID.7 saloon and ID. Buzz minivan. Volkswagen recommends that these vehicles be serviced every two years, which involves a full vehicle inspection, a pollen filter and brake oil change, and a diagnostic check for any new software. This will also include a battery state of health check to confirm the battery remains above 70% capacity.

There are three levels of Volkswagen service plan available for ID. models in their first year.

Essentials — this covers one service
Standard — this provides two services over four years and one MOT
Plus — this includes two services over four years, two MOTs and two tyre replacements.
